Product Description
An old world artichoke softneck. The large, oval and round bulbs have a cream-colored wrapper with a real punchy taste that is mild when fresh, and builds without heat as it is stored. Polish White also has large cloves compared to some other softneck varieties, making it easy to use. For a large-cloved garlic, the shelf life is also very good!
Polish White is one of the best varieties for dehydrating and making homemade garlic powder, as it makes a very fine-grained powder. It has long been a gardener’s favorite because it is an early harvesting, richly flavored light-to medium pungency garlic that grows almost anywhere. In addition, its parchment-like bulb wrappers make it a very good braiding garlic. That’s a lot to like in a garlic that when properly grown and stored will keep through the winter and it is a prolific grower and a good commercial garlic.
This bulb has 6-15 cloves.
